Headlight tip

Instead of buying a new headlight if your headlight is foggy. Get some Rainx and rubb it in it will clear up your headlight like it was new. You just saved over 100 for a new light or more depending on make and model of vehicle.

My headlights keep burning out, both bright and normal. They seem to be shorting out and it's getting expensive. Right after I replace one, the other one burns out! My lens covers are also no longer clear, they look foggy. Do I have a leak in BOTH of my headlight assemblies?

If both lenses are foggy chances are your bulbs are acting like fuses and when wet/damp blowing,reseal with silicon,or replace lenses.(when lenses get foggy it is also a sign that the chrome has oxidised.)

1999 taurus has foggy headlights.

Most Auto Stores sell a headlight solution that cleans the fogginess of your headlight. Assuming your headlight looks dirty and cloudy as would a pool, a simple solution is to pick up the cleaner at any auto place. That is a lot cheaper than buying a new headlight.

The headlight lens has gone foggy. Night time driving is difficult as the lens has a fogginess. Is there anything we can apply to lens to make it clearer or do we have to buy a new lens?

new light ,but try cleaning it with smokers toothpaste applied with a sponge on a electric drill

2000 Honda Accord Headlight Assembly

what i suggest i can suggest is, buy a clear sealant, and seal the sides of the headlights.

the reason why is air can creep in tha lamps that's why it gets moisture (foggy) and dirty.
