hi , do you think if I replace crank sensor will solve the problem ,my jeep .... Where's the crankshaft located in 99 jeep grand Cherokee laredo .

code p 0113 refers to intake air temperature (IAT) sensor --circuit malfunction===causes wiring open circuit / short to positive ---wiring short to ground ---ground wire defective --IAT sensor---ECM
the MAF ( mass air flow) sensor has nothing to do with the fault
the fault is in the wiring or the IAT sensor

P0113 Jeep - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High

(mass airflow sensor bad)

Code 720 is a problem with the output speed sensor on the transmission.
The sensor would need to be tested.

smoke from the dip stick hole is not an indication of a sensor problem
more like running engine with out any oil in the sump

The air temperature is taken between the air filter and the throttle body. Look in the roof of your air cleaner box. (usually 2-pin plug) After the air cleaner, the tube that sends the air to the throttle body has the mass air flow sensor in it.(usually 4-pin plug)

Have you checked the coolant temp sensor. They also have something called a MAP(manifold absolute pressure) sensor that could be causing this issue. This sensor will have a 4 pin connector and 1 vacuum line going to it. Should be on the firewall, just behind the engine.
