Where can i find a manual for the PCM Sat Nav on a Porsche (996)

Under the front passanger's seat.

The easiest way is with the PIWIS tool..(Factory diagnostic tool)..find a local independent to scan and complete this for you. It is a fiber optic "MOST" system.
Sometimes a battery disconnect and reconnect will solve the task.

check your manual or ask a friend how to access the menus to change from metric to US

did you find the manual? i need the same manual (its for my CRV 2004) but I'm sure its the same model of DVD sat Nav. looked on the net everywhere.

paul it really sounds as if that dealer is trying to stroke u....my suggestion would to call porshe and find out who the district manager or manager of the stores in ur city or even county and tell him or her of ur problem... and how u feel about this problem.. and ask why a car would be returned to u in worse condition than when u took it there... its very possible that the change of the battery wasnt done correctly and may have blown ur ecu... id get in contact with the district service manager (dsm) as soon as possible..u paid alot of money for this car and for its service.. and should be entitled to quality work performance..

did any of you find one? i have just bought a SECOND HAND 2004 CRV but no sat nav manual - nothing on the net- any help appreciated.

you should have got a code card with the car giving you the radio sat nav code etc if not off to the dealer ship you go
