2009 saturn hybrid dome ligh stays on

Hello! All the brake lights are controlled in part by the Stop Lamp Relay (#49)...When you tap your brakes all the brake lights come on ...Then off...For only the top mounted light to come on when you do not tap your brakes would require a wire (Light Blue in color) to be touching battery in the harness...question is; When you see the top light come on are you certain the other brake lights are off?...Have you had someone monitor the lights when the problem happens? If only the top mounted light is malfunctioning the problem isn't a component, as such, but a wiring fault (which I can find)...If you as the driver only see the top light come on and assume the other brake lights are off It is more then likely the relay mentioned earlier or a defective Brake Pedal Position sensor...

Tell me if you are certain only the top mounted brake light comes on by itself...And I'll take it from there....Guru...Saailer

This light indicates you have one or more tires that are under inflated.

A problem like this u would need all the issues before diagnosis. It may have something to do w the air intake temp sensor, coolant sensor, vacuum leak, the temp may timing may affect spark timing etc. Your best bet would be is to get it to an auto tech u trust to scan & ck the computer readings, emissions, & general running condition. Wish I had the specs to help further. Good Luck

is the button pushed or on the dash to dim the dash lights is that turned for the dome light is on. if none of that then the switch in the door is bad/shorted

I too have had this problem on very cold mornings, but have not been able to get this looked at yet since it's now summer.

take back 2 the dealer its under its under warienty
