2000 dodge caravan will crank but will not start. Ran fine yesterday, possibly not getting any gas?

My understanding:
"Crank" means turn over under the power of the starter.
"start" means it starts running
If your vehicle will not "crank" I would think that means you may have a bad battery, terminal, or connection, or ignition switch, or solenoid, or starter.
If your vehicle will not start, I would be thinking that it is cranking but won't run, so I would be looking for a spark (ignition) problem, or a fuel delivery problem.

Are you saying the engine will not crank, or crank but will not start ?
None of the engine sensors come into play until after the engine is cranking.
Cranking problems can include the neutral safety switch and other factors with the crank circuit back to the key switch.

Sounds like you possibly got bad gas, or your at the bottom level of your gas tank and got the nasty stuff. Try running a good fuel treatment through the system and fill it up with premium gasoline from Marathon

try checking the crank shaft sensor, i had that problem with a 95 cirrus

inside of rear panel on driver or passenger side of rear hatch- small red push button,but it actually sounds like a fuel filter.....

if it seems to be getting fuel let it set for a few minute, turn on the key without cranking the engine, then crank engine do not step on the gas pedal. if it still doesn't start check your fuse. if the fuse is good, then your problem might start to get a little expensive.

Simple Tune-up (plugs and wires) check coil.

You are a little vag on info,is there a mil light on, check for dtc's, when it does not crank, does the starter just clicks, replace the contacts in the soleniod, when it just turns over, is there spark, if not, you might have a problem with the cranks sensor, if it was not removed before the engine was pulled, about the 2 oclock postion on the trans bell housing , looking at the rear of engine, if this problem was not there before the engine swap, suppect the crank sensor. have you checked fuel pressure, even if the pump is new. are all the components of your swap eng the same as old engine, injectors, sensors, if you can share more info, I will help you further. I'd take a close look at the relays under the hood, in the fuse/relay box, i think on yours probably on drivers side near shock tower. Look close at connections to it also.

hate to tell you this... it does sound like a blown head gasket
