Im assuming you already know about using a 1/2 inch drive extension to position the tension pully so you can get the belt on or off.
Simply follow the diagram for belt routing underneath the hood. There is no exact timing marks like a timing belt so you don't have to worry about that.. just make sure the belt is centered on all of the pulleys

The Saab accessory drive (serpentine) belt is self-tensioning by means of a
tensioning pulley. Excessive play means that the current belt is
spent and must be replaced. It is a very good idea to replace the idler
pulley above the tensioner pulley at this time as the bearings fail over time. You can get an
aftermarket pulley of machined billet aluminum construction with a
repalceable bearing race from Wazee Pulleys.
This pulley is superior to the stock one in just about every
conceivable way.
To remove the belt you will need a 1/2 inch socket extension bar that
will fit exactly in the top of the tensioning pulley housing and a six
mm allen key. This site
shows the proper routing of the stock belt and the routing procedure to
bypass the highly failure prone center idler pulley if you so elect, as
well as the procedure to remove and fit a new belt. Note, the belts
shown on this site are for the short-belt modification only. The stock
replacement belt is Part Code: 4904728

To remove the belt, you will find it best to remove the airbox to allow you more room at the top end to work. Also, jack up the car and remove the passenger wheel to give you access down below.

That wasn't right though. There is a 1/2 slot for a 1/2 inch breaker bar and when two holes are lined up you stick a drill bit or similar peice through to lock it in place till you get the belt routed then pull back alittle bit on the breaker bar to remove tension from the drill bit . Remove the drill bit and release tension on breaker bar and remove it to put tension on the belt. Then check alignment , positioning, routing of the belt visually.

Initially 30,000 then every 36,000. These engines are identified as "interference engines" meaning that engine damage is most likely to occur. What this means is as the cam stops tne crank continues to spin allowing the pistons to move up and down. All the valves do not close just because the cam stops thus resulting in bent valves.
