Hi, you have to remove the fuel rail and then remove the electrical connector and then there is a clip that holds the injector to the fuel rail remove that clip and then remove the injector

SOURCE: 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo both brake lights

try replacing the sockets in the tailights/brake lights. worked for me. $10 each. i had to replace all of mine because just replacing the brake sockets didn't solve the problem on the right side. you can test it by exchanging tail light for brake light socket and if that works you know it is the socket

1993 Laredo. Does it have two fuel filters?

are you on wrong forum, Grand cherokee is it?
the XJ jeep is not a ZJ jeep. which is it, the big GRAND ZJ?
what a great question, actually cars with EFI all have 3 filters...
sorry to shock you.

1: the fuel sock , below the pump , to catch loose golf balls. LOL.
dead bugs, etc.
2: the pump output line has a filter., all do, can be in tank (newer cars) or just outside (did you look first or post first) bingo!
3: then each injector has 10 micron size screens. the above keeps these clean, saving $120 for injector service and labor R&R.

and what engine, not posted engine size on engine questions
the fuel system matches ENGINE type, on all cars made.
4.0L engine ????

ive owned both a grand laredo and not grand laredo 1988 to 2010

if not grand see this XJ car.
called just a Cherokee here. 1993
http://www.morris4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

the grand is called a ZJ
also on same page and both are LAREDO's

the book has a fuel chapter.
read that. for free.

I have a 1996 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. It started stalling at idle and now it will not start.

sounds like a fuel supply problem-change the fuel filter and run some injector cleaner through it-it also could be a bad fuel pump-Denny

2002 grand cherokee, overland 4,7L engine doesnt

Hi Joko,

What you are describing is a failure of a main circuit. The first thing you should check is yo make sure that your battery is in good condition and that the cables are clean and tight. Let me know if yu find anything wrong there. Then there may be another main circuit problem. Check all of the fuses in your fuse block in the engine compartment. If any of these fuses are blown, it will usually cause several things to not work. If you find any fuses blown, DON'T REPLACE IT YET. Let me know WHICH fuse is blown and I can help you find out why it blew so you can get the problem fixed.

Get back to me on this and we will continue.
