There is a chance you may have an engine bay coolant leak and the fumes are being drawn in through the heater ductwork so verify that first.
But....
Coolant fumes inside usually come from a leaking heater core. The heater core is like a small radiator inside your vehicle that gives off heat.
Problems like this arise from coolant that has not been flushed and creates an electrolysis that eats away at the material causing a leak.
This is not a job for a do it yourself guy(or girl). A pro could easily spend 5 to 7 hours changing this one.
Make sure whoever does this repair flushes the system.
If windows are foggy on inside your heater core is probably leaking. sometimes leaks on engine you will smell in cab
Testimonial: "yes windows are foggy thank you!"
Need more info. It could either be a coolant leak under the hood that is cooking off and getting into the cabin, or you may have a leaking heater core (under the dash) that is the source of the odor.
Testimonial: "thank you at least i have an idea where to begin"
SOURCE: Fumes inside the cabin. Coolant probably leaking.
Most likely, if it was installed at the dealership, you don't have a block heater, but a oil pan heater. To verify, look under the car, at the oil pan. Is there a pad siliconed to the oil pan?
If you DO have a block heater, it should be on the drivers side portion of the engine.
