I have a 2000 Chysler Town and Country. We just got back from a 1600 mile trip where we didn't have any problems with the car except near the end. Today, getting back into town, I'm having problems with the car stalling. When I first start it up, it will stall out when I try to reverse. Once I get it going it is fine, until I'm trying to stop at a stop light, when it will stall out again and the check oil light will come on. When I'm coming into my parking lot, it isn't stalling on me. Help!

There should be a manual shut off switch for the doors. shut off the power to the doors then manual open it. you should be able to overcome any debris in the track. then you can clean it out. it the door is locked and won't unlock, the fuel door may be open or cracked open enough to not allow the door to unlock. there is a lever or switch that prevents the door from opening when the fuel door is open.

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you cycle the key?

Possible dead cell in battery, most likely a fault in the charging system. First, Jump Vehicle to get started then remove the Negative cable. If the vehicle dies when you take the jumper cables away or when you disconnect the negative cable your alternator or charging system is faulty. If the vehicle runs without battery connected you have a bad cell in your battery, replace the battery.
