You may have to reset the computer but i would take it in to get it checked is there any weird nosies coming from the engine it could also just be a senser please provide more information

According to my dealer the TCU fixed the issue.. Transmission Control Unit... They also have to comply with the TSB for the Brake Switch too... See if this helps..This symptom just happened to me just the a week ago... Best to ya.. FB
Your vehicle has had a fault that has forced the computer to put the vehicle into "Crawl" mode. This allows you to take the vehicle to a repairer to evaluate and repair the problem at which time the repairer will reset your computer. Driving your vehicle in this mode for long distances is not recommended as you might do more damage to whatever is wrong. If you have only 48 kilometres on the vehicle, then it is basically brand new and will still be under the manufacturers warranty, take it back to the dealer you bought the vehicle from.
speed sensor or wheel bearing as well brake problem or burnt fuse a few things to check if worst comes to worast unplug battery and replug battery wait 15mins before plugging battery back then go for a ride if it lights up as soon as you start there is a power problem or sensor problem if you drive it and comes on latter then you have a sensor problem or brake problem
We had the same problem. The dealer had to replace the gas pedle which caused the loss of power. The esc light still comes on and off on its own. I will be taking the car back to the dealer to resolve this issue soon.
We also have a 2008 Kia Sorento. We bought it in December 2007 and it has 12K miles on it. We've been having the same problem for about 2 months. In our case the check engine light comes on along with the esc off light however in our case the car then immediately loses power! We've had it to the dealer 4 times as it continues to occur even after they've claimed to fix it. The loss of power poses a serious safety hazard.
