Do you have a remote key at all?
if yes then you can take the key go to a keymaker shop and thei will be able to clone the key code and duplicate a new remote key for you.

have you had the instrument cluster programmed, if not this might be your answer. i work for iveco and e
we have to programme new instrument clusters, if it was a second hand one this also might cause the problems
The centre panel of the dash can be prised open at the front. This reveals screws holding the 2 silver side strips of the centre console on. Once they are off the silver strips unclip from the top revealing the screws holding the stereo etc on.
This dosen't help but.........
I have a similar problem. Every 4 weeks or so the car refuses to start. Again battery is not a problem but if we use cables to jump start from another car it starts fine.
Mitubishi cannot find the answer, only suggestion was to spend £150 on a new key , however the problem has now occured with both of the keys !
