The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses. fuse number is 15 or 17. 20 amps
If the fuses, bulbs, switch are good then its your wiring, you have a break somewhere, check the switch behind your brake pedal, make sure you have power to the light sockets and they are not burnt, my wife has a ford edge and burnt right rear socket and the light still worked, go figure, anyways good luck
Open the rear deck. There are two phillip head screws holding the tail light assembly, located just inside the rear deck jam. remove them, then gently remove the TL assy. The sockets twist out CC. Then you can replace the bulb. Look at the socket to see if it is black ( burned ). Common on the WS. Hope this helps. TJ
CHECK BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH AND ITS WIRING.AND CHECK ALL BRAKE LIGHT BULBS SOCKETS FOR ANY SIGNS BURN MELT SOCKETS. YOU WILL FIND WHAT SHORTING OUT BLOWING FUSE.
Check Fuse box Number 30 which is a 10Amp fuse
& number 15 which is a 7.5amp fuse.
you met have a blow fuse.
If good
Did you check the dimmer on the head light switch Pull out to see if you have power on cable color orange / blue. (Pin 9)
If this is good
Pull cluster out to see if you have power on plug pin 3 in instrument cluster this there..
If you have power
than replace the llumination bulb or cluster.
Very rare to find a ground poblem here.
This would be a good indicator that your display screen is burnt out. This means there is nothing that can be done with it unless you replace the whole stereo unit.
