Could be your starter. When it gets hot it wont turn over until it cools. I would check it out. Advanced Auto Store might analyze it free in your area.
just a guess but being that the rear defrost is not woking id bet ist a fuse check owners manuel or go to a local autozone or the like store as thy should check this for free hope this is helpfull.
please post response good luck
saturns use a spin on transmission filter, similar to the motor oil filter.after-market filters like FRAM or PUROLATER are as good or better than dealer parts and likely less expensive.transmission fluid is drained from the plug in the pan, again, like the motor oil.
Hey There,I would check the battery terminal connections real good.If they check out I have seen some inside fuse box issues where a terminal gets hot & burns at the front 68way connector. The wiring con be accessed by removing the left side console trim panel next to drivers right foot area. You can wiggle the wiring the next time it doesn't start & see if it takes off.If so you should back that connector out (7mm) screw in center & inspect male terminals with flashlight. If you see a terminal that looks like the plastice is malted around it you fould it.It will be in the first row.Used fuse box if so.Hope this helps
Louis, Heres what you need to do. The "system not ready" is indicating there is an emission device the ECM can't control.
Take your car to Auto Zone or Advanced Auto Parts and ask them to scan for codes, they will do it for free.
Any other issues, like low coolant temperatures, engine missfires, high idles?
Let me know.
Regards,
try disconnecting the negative batt wire let sit for 3 mins.reconnect batt should reset the comp.if not pull the pcm fuse from the inside batt box.and i would think that they would be nice enough to hook it 2 the comp and erase the code for u.but if ur light is on go 2 auto zone or advanced auto and have them hook it up 2 there comp and see if they could erase it for u.dont worry if your lights on they do it for free.if the above doesnt work have them check your alt.thers not many more things it could be put your wires.so check your wires .start the car and discont the negative wire from batt while running and if the car stalls its your alt.also make sure all ur wire terminals to and from batt to al are clean
A leaking A/C unit tends to get grimy, decreasing air flow. Have your refrigerant pressure checked, If it is low, have the mechanic open up the HVAC system and clean the grime off the AC condenser with some solvent, or do an expensive A/C repair. Also of note: Some 2002 SL models were equipped with cabin air filters. If you have one, get it replaced.
