If the bulbs are good, the only thing left is the headlight switch, or wires. black/yellow wires from the switch all the way back to bulbs. ck power to the bulbs first. if no power, then ck power at switch.

I have a jeep liberty 2005 2 wheel drive my passenger side driving light will not come on. Also instrument panel lights will not come on either.

first off ,you did electric work and skipped step 1
pull battery neg lug first.
so you blew the fuses.
what IP lights. all warning lamps.
or just the park lamps in the cluster.
part is called Illumination in said cluster.

where is these other lights, what is a driving light, (park, head, turn, what? brakes?)
tell all lights that work & not , inside and outside car.
tell what knob you turn. can be like 10x better clue...?????
burned sockets are shorted lamps, the brass base lamps love to short inside, (china made x10) get new ones from top maker....

ok, so after replacing the TL assy.
what dont work now, report all lamps.
if it's only outside lamps failing, say so..
i guess you dont know that parking lamps go to like 20+ places, inside and outside car. so. parking lamps are special if acting up
then brake lamps
then blinkers (turn signals)
then reverse.

if the parks (aka, incorrectly TAIL) are bad, then we need to know that. using the correct word.
parks are on all 4 counters, and side lights and inside car.
that is why tail lamp , is a bad name. but fuses are marked as tail on many cars.

also when working on car external lighting
make sure no trailer towing hacks are found.
look for non OEM hack jobs, at the rear corners. Uhual hacks.
or past collision damage to wiring not repaired properly.

how is that>?

I was wiring a trailer pigtail to an 06 wrangler and blew the turn signal bulbs but the fuses are good. I have running and reverse lights but no brake lights or turn signals

If the bulbs and the fuses are good, check the brake light switch. You might of shorted out the switch when working on the pig tail. Always use a test light or volt meter when installing pig tails. This way you can check for power and ground before hooking a wire up to help prevent shorts. But by what you have said it does sound as if the brake light switch is now bad.

1998 Jeep wrangler....turn signal intermittent

check your light socket at the back make sure everything is clean and all metal contacts free of corrosion. your having power feed back through one of your light socket.apply petroleum jelly to all electrical contact to avoid having problem again.

98 Jeep Wrangler turn signals and flashers don't work

The tail lights on the 98 use the screws that hold the light to the body of the jeep to ground the lights. Chances are the wholes that the screws/bolts goes into have a coating of rust around them and are stopping the lights from grounding. This may not be the solution but you need to eliminate this from your list.
