Sounds like you got the transmission linkage hooked up incorrectly. If you didn't get it right, the neutral safety switch(the one that lets you start the car when in neutral or park only) will prevent the car from starting.

2003 chevy impala transmission slip went you start moving

Sounds like worn clutches, more than likely the transmission needs rebuilt or replaced.

My drivers heated seat is not working in my 2003 chevy impala and it also shifts hard.

1.)heated seat is usually the heating elements under the seat cover.
2.)shifting is likely a pc solenoid and valve body.CODE associated with this is a p1811.If your vehicle has high miles or there is alot of debris in the pan of the trans, then I would suggest a reman trans.

2003 Chevy Impala feels like transmission slips when first starting out. Told it was a solenoid

Check trans fluid level. May need to flush trans fluid and filter and adjust bands. First gear and reverse are first to go out. Low fluid level would cause slipage

Transmission problems

I had a 01 impala that was **** too. switched to Ford and havent been to the shop since. If you look at the question breakdown for this website you will see 5 times as many posts for chevys than fords. However, you could have gotten a bad rebuild too. I had a rebuild done once and they boke most of the bolts that held the transmission in and didnt replace them.

2003 Chevy Impala transmission

Did you have it serviced or rebuilt, If you had it rebuilt I would take it back to the trans shop for warranty repairs.
If they just changed the trans filter I don't think it would cause your problem. You just have bad luck with the slipping trans

How do you replace the pressure control solenoid on a 2003 Chevy Impala?

The pressure control solenoid is inside the transmission under the pan on the drivers side. To replace it you will need a lift and a trans jack. It is really hard to do on the ground because you have to remove the sub-frame from the car. If you are not familiar with trans components and removal you may be better off taking it to a shop. You can do more harm than good. Good Luck
