Try turning the steering wheel while turning the key to get it out. More than likely your steering wheel is locked and this almost always makes it impossible to remove the key. Try turning the wheel even farther in which ever direction it will go and this should allow you to remove your key. If it works, please leave vote on my answer.

Ignition wont turn

if you mean the key won`t turn to start the car you may have a worn key and or ignition switch. try another key to see if its the key. also make sure there is not tension on the ignition by way of the steering wheel being turned in the full left or right turn causing tension on the ignition.

Stuck eldorado key in DTS ignition now car won't start

Make sure your steering wheel isn't locked. Sometimes a key won't turn until you jiggle the wheel while trying to turn the key.

I put key in ignition and it won't turn. Steering wheel will turn but key won't turn. We have 2 keys and neither will work. What can I do?

If the wrong key was inserted it may have bent a tumbler pin, maybe try some wd-40 or similar and work it with the right key, might drop the tumbler back,,if not the whole ign. cylinder will have to be changed

Key won't turn in ignition

If your steering wheel is locked, turn it a bit away from the locked position. Key should turn now.

Otherwise, you may need to replace the ignition or you have a bad copy of a key.

1998 Plymouth grand voyager ignition won't turn

I have had this happen on my 98 Voyager. Just have a new key cut. This new key will sometimes cure the problem. The older keys get worn out and won't unlock the ignition. Try this before a much more expensive and time consuming change of the ignition.
