Sounds like it is low on coolant. Add coolant, drive the car, let it cool down, and then repeat the problem until the coolant level stays constant in the coolant tank. If it doesn't stay constant after a few tries, there may be a coolant leak inside the engine (blown head gasket or intake gaskets).
Door latch on door itself is in closed position if it will not close at all. In this case, open door and pull outside handle hard to pop open door latch. If you have door opening at random, door latch needs replacing or door catch on body is loose.
The module for the power locks may be bad, in that the contacts are dirty inside. I had this problem on a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais that randomly locked itself when the car's engine was off and the ignition key was removed, or even when it was running.
A replacement module wasn't available, but the auto electrical tech took it apart, cleaned the contacts, and after that it worked fine.
Try Re-Activating the Remote System to Lock, Unlock and back to Lock again several times. Does the original problem re-occur? If so there is a problem with the Remote System, and possibly with the Remote itself sticking. Try Lock and Unlock and disconnect the battery. Wait at least 5 to 30-minutes before reconnecting. The remote itself you can take apart and check to see if the depress button is sticking causing the signal to be constantly sent over and over again.
