I've replaced all tires and all rims, both lower control arms, both hubs, both front rotors, both cv axles, and the problem is still there. I,m not sure wtf to do or where to look now. oh i also have had an alignment. any advice would be greatly appreciated
I had a similar experience once and a mechanic friend asked me if I had checked the brake calipers - I expressed doubt but he told me he didn't know why but semi-seized calipers could cause the problem.
Going back even further we used to find when the vibration was triggered by driving over even a small bump (car remaining smooth on a very smooth surface), it would be invariably be caused by worn shock absorbers. Once the vibration began it would continue until the car stopped and started again when it would remain smooth until another bump once more triggered the vibration.
Cars with olio legs (McPherson struts) were particularly affected

this is known as death wobble because it feels like you are going to die but slowing down will end it.
The cause for death wobble are:
try to realign the front end. If it doesnt help, then you do indeed have worn steering / suspension components.
SOURCE: While heavily applying the brakes at high speed the truck shakes.
If the front of the truck is doing all the shaking then the front brakes are doing all the stoppong. You need to check the rear brakes and change if neccessary. If they do not need to be changed then you should adjust them accordingly. I hope this helps. Don.t forget to rate my answer, thanks.

more than likely you need to have your brake rotors resurfaced or replaced
SOURCE: The front end shakes badly when going over a bump
That and other bushings and idler arms worn. I would suggest a free inspection somewhere for them to show you what needs repaired.
SOURCE: Front End shaking
Most likely with this problem is the front tires. The tires maybe " out of balance " or " out of round " causing the vibration at certain speeds.
