There is no reset feature. If it doesn't work, that usually a transponder key issue. Try a different key

Either you may be using a key that you had copied from the original or your chip went bad in your original key. Most of cars now a days have the key censor in the key so if it is the incorrect key it will not start your car or if it does not read that chip it will not start

SOURCE: 2000 ford windstar anti theft light flashing vehicle won't start

This means that your key is not being recogonized.Ethier the chip in the key is bad or the patts transciever at the lock cylinder. Do you have a spare key? If not you will have to get 2 new keyss cut and programmed.

SOURCE: The anti theft sensor on the steering colum needs

The sensor is part of the ignition key lock cylinder, so the part and labor will be around $200-$300 depends on your local labor rate, the dealer must do this repair because the new lock cylinder key code must be programmed into the VATS module.

How do I bypass anti theft on 2004 Ford explorer

There is no reset button on an OEM system. Instead of trying to disarm the anti-theft, arm it, then start the car. Press the "Lock" button on the key fob, put the key in the ignition and see if that works.

I have a 2013 ford taurus and the anti theft light is blinking i tried to jump the car off thinking it may be the battery but everything in the car is coming on it just won't start. It has the push button...

this is the anti-theft system that has activated thinking the car was being tampered with. it will have to be reset. not sure if this is a problem with the BCM or the car keys have a problem. you may have to contact the dealer or a shop that can re-program this circuit.

Try re-setting the computer...Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and leave off for 5-10 minutes. This will allow the computer to reset. The charger may have interupted the signal or something.

1994 ford explorer limited anti-theft

Two tips:
* If your anti-theft system is sounding (horn honking/lights flashing)you press the panic button on your key fob to shut it off.

* If your anti-theft system is armed (but not triggered) it is disarmed when you unlock the door(s) using your unlock button on your keyfob, the key pad on the driver's door, or your key.

Hope help with this. Good luck (remember rated this).

Recently heard that a 2003 ford explorer sport trac had a anti-theft swith/button on floorboard that when activated will not allow vehicle to start. Where is that located? thanks

don't know about anything like that. I know Ford did put the emergency fuel shut-off switch on the passengers side floor up under the dash just behing the carpet on Rangers and were sometimes unplugged by passengers with long legs. It has a little red button on it that pushed down. Check to see if you have something like that. Maybe it shuts off when the anti-theft alarm is activated and has to be reset.
