Your battery is located in the rear under your cargo floor. Where most cars would hide a compact spare.
SOURCE: 2007 Chevy HHR Fuse panel
There should be a printed list on the inside of the fuse boxes, as well as in the owners manual. There is one box under the hood, and another on the right side of the console near the passenger's feet.
In most cases it's just a fuse for the connector that they plug in to. The fuse for you that you should check is in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment. Below is a picture of the fuse layout in that fuse panel. It's not the best and I have tried to mark the fuse you want to check. If you can't see the picture real well, look on the cover of that fuse panel and the fuse you need to check will be the fuse in the number 29 position and/or the one labeled (on the cover) "FRT AUX PWR OUTLET". It will be a 20 amp fuse. Hope this solves your problem....
Testimonial: " This was the exact problem. Thank you for taking the time to help me out."
Your talking about the rear park lamps, but, do the front park lamps work?
Note the picture.
Underhood fuse box, 68 is park lamp relay, 69 is park lamp fuse.
