i believe it is held in by a spring underneath the rubber boot the spring swings over like a door and hooks in a notch

First drain radiator by opening drain valve,"located on bottom corner usualy the right,but not always." If you open the overflow or remove cap this will happen much faster.For safety sake disconnect ground wire from battery,the radiator is locked down by top cover that attaches to body with generaly 4 bolts, upper and lower hoses have to be disconnected and if it is automatic the transmission cooling lines are connected in stacked fashion,"one above the other."The cooling fan has to be unplugged and it should be removable at this point,"when unplugging fan be carefull with connector so it doesn't break.reverse steps to replace making sure the bolts go in the right place and it all fits properly.the thermostat,"located behind the kneck of upper hose," should be replaced after connecting lower hose because in order to fill the block up and prevent damaging thermostat the block shoud be filled with coolant before attaching upper hose.

Is that the original radio to your car? If so call the Honda customer service 1800-999-1009 and tell them what you need and they will help you out. They will ask you some questions, but it will be worth it to get your radio code. Have your VIN number to your car and the serial # number to your radio because they will ask you for it.

Remove the radiator resevior, it pulls straight up and out!
To get to the low beam you must pull out the two black plugs on a triange shaped black plastic cover and then pull up to remove it.
The headlight is behind that black plastic cover and you replace it just as any other. Hold the clip and pull down on the plug to release it from the bulb. Turn the buld about 1/4 turn and remove.

Putting the black plastic back is the problem.

The plugs have two different positions. Make sure that they are pulled apart to the small position (I pushed and pushed and they will not fit if in the wrong position) and they will slide in and when pushed they open up and lock right in.

For 1997 Honda Accord 2.2L MFI 4cyl the Vehicle Speed Sensor - Location is located mounted on transmission.

OPERATION
The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is a magnetic pick-up sensor that sends a signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the speedometer. The sensor measures the rotation of the output shaft on the transaxle and sends an AC voltage signal to the PCM that determines the corresponding vehicle speed.



TESTING

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disengage the wiring harness connector from the VSS.
3. Using a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM), measure the resistance (ohmmeter function) between the sensor terminals. If the resistance is 190-250 ohms, the sensor is okay.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the three terminal connector from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
3. Remove the fasteners that secure the VSS to the transaxle housing assembly.
4. Remove the VSS.

1. Install the VSS.
2. Install the mounting bolts.
3. Connect the three terminal connector to the sensor.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
