Which part of the ECU do you want to bypass and why? Performance, or to bypass a check light? If it is one of the normal codes or misfire bank x cylinder x it can be either a cat malfunction to any number of things.

Knowing whether you want to bypass the entire module (which you cannot due to just what ECU means(engine control unit)) but if you have a constant annoyance please reply with the issue and maybe we can help you to solve the reasoning behind wanting to bypass in the first place.

Testimonial: "Thanks. Asking to know, because some one told me some people can bypass the ECU. I'm not a electronics Tech and knows nothing about vehicle. But, I think, I can get the best answers from you. Someone told me to check the the Petrol Common Rail Pressure Switch. I don't know where this is located"

How do i bypass immoblizer for a hilux sr 2006

All Toyota engines utilize one of the most sophisticated vehicle Immobilizer systems on the market. There is no known way to bypass these systems. What this means, is that even if you somehow successfully installed a used D-4D engine into your vehicle, the ECU would be locked and not allow the engine to run as the ECU needs to be programmed to your specific vehicle. It's a common misconception that simply having a key from the donor vehicle is a method of bypassing this programmer. All Toyota D-4D ECU's use volatile memory chips for their immobilizers which means that if the battery power is cut to the ECU for any considerable length of time, the ECU will have to be re-programmed.

Immobiliser bypass

The motor can be replaced without touching the immobilizer system. There may be no problem with the immobilizer system as it only turns off power to the fuel pump or ignition spark.
better yet just re-seed the immobilizer ECM with the dealer
