My guess is that it's either too tight entrance conductors (wind vibration similar to guitar strings being plucked) or the conductor bracket has loosened over time.

In either case, YOU MUST CALL a professional to correct the problem. Theses conductors are not protected by any over current protection and are being fed at nearly 300 volts, ac, p-p. (240 volts RMS but your body will feel the full 295 volts). Any contact will result in *****.

Try talking to your local utility to start.

Testimonial: "Sorry I did not make myself clear- this is a one inch diameter cable coming from the unit in the attic and feeding the outside air conditioning unit. It does meet up with electrical cables toward the bottom. They are attached to the outside of the house with brackets and screws."

Sorry, misunderstood. Electrical cables that are secured properly, that hum and vibrate, are ""usually"" leaking current to ground.

As you described it. I would have concerns about cable deterioration, allowing some current to leak to a grounded surface. Not always, but its s known condition. And a concern. Current leaking from a conductor under these circumstances can cause localized heating on the adjacent surface and lower its kindling temperature. Under certain circumstances this can cause a fire to start.

I know it's expensive, but I would recommend you have a local electrician take a look at the problem; if for no other reason, piece of mind.

I'm guessing standard transmission? Think about getting it checked. It sounds like the splines (areas where your gears fit/mesh together inside the transmission housing) may be coming loose or for some reason are not fitting together like they should. Are you having any issues changing gears? Have you noticed any excessive play in your gear shifter? Is any fluid leaking out from the housing? I'm thinking something is loose in the housing itself or you may also get the clutch/throw out bearing checked - sometimes that can cause vibration/rattling or even a whining noise as it's going out.

How to install 2006 xA driver side mirror?

just the mirror or the entire housing ???

just mirror
  • remove old mirror (pry out)
  • unscrew from holder
  • screw new mirror into holder
  • press holder back into housing
entire housing
  • open door
  • pry off mirror shield (might need to unscrew) the shield is inside the door which hides the bolts holding the housing
  • unscrew housing
  • remove power cable (if any)
  • plug in cable to new housing (if any)
  • bolt the new housing in place
  • replace shield.

It sounds like something is loose...That may be causing your vibrating problems with the engine. You need to life the hood and grab anything that should be bolted down grab it and gently but firmly pull on it. If it moves then you will see it right then and there. Or it can be on the inside of the motor also. The jerking can be from bad fuel....

ok well its possible there may be something stuck in the blower motor under the passenger side dash. ..or the blower motor itself could be on its way out, sometimes leaves or sticks from trees and even stove inside the glove box can find their way into the windshield cowling and into your blower motor..u can remove it to check by unplugging its white connector and remove the 8mm bolts that secure it into the heater core box..its very easy to remove..the 8mm bolts / screws should also have a phillips head on them...
