Did it crank and run normal prior to this ?
Testimonial: "Yes. Was running fine then battery was drained when a light was left on and not driven for a few days. Battery has been fully recharged and it's a new battery that was just put in recently."
You need to diagnose the car and clear the errors.

Sounds like your firing!
Be sure that your crankshaft is not wet, oil coated, or just plain out needs replacing. I'm almost certain this would fix your problem.

Sounds like you have a fuel pressure issue. These trucks are bad about bleeding all the fuel pressure off when the engine is shut of but will run fine when started. the only good way to check this is to install a fuel pressure gauge on the shrader valve on the fuel rail. Once you get it isntalled start the engine and let it run for a minute or so,shut the engine off and it should hold pressure,if it bleeds off quickly it means the check valve on the pump is leaking and it will need a fuel pump.

Yes. Unfortunately, it sounds like it is your fuel pump, and if it is, I believe it's located in the gas tank. Would be extremely hard to replace it yourself unless you have the proper tools, jacks, a lift for the car, etc.... If you decide to do so, write back and I'll provide step-by-step instruction.
