You need to replace the speedo gear on your transmission or differential with the correct gear ratio to compensate for the size of tires your running. Maybe call a 4x4 store or truck accessories store for parts.
If it Idles well in park and neutral but shutters when you put it into gear then I would say the trans. torque converter is staying locked.You may want to try and flush the trans,replace filter and fluid.
I would start with the MAP sensor. You can also pull codes out of it. there should be a 10 or 12 pin plug under your dash in the canter of the car. here is a link that may help. - North Central Regional Library Good luck
If you felt a loss of power, you had to press on the gas harder before it died, you may want to check on the fuel filter. Otherwise you may want to check on the fast idle valve or pcv if it needs cleaning, or vacuum hoses if they have leaks which may be the cause of the rough idle if its an EFI engine.
