You need to have someone scan the OBD system and tell you if the fuel trim is at the upper or lower limit. Then you will need to fault trace from the following list Possible source
Lower limit:
intake air leakage
exhaust system air leakage
defective heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)
high fuel pressure
leaking injectors
defective mass air flow (MAF) sensor
contaminated engine oil
oil level too high
defective heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)

Do you disc?
It means the switch is bad. It stands for disconnected. The contacts in the selector switch get bad over time. When it does it again jiggle the switch and it will go away. You will need to replace the swith to fix your problem

check for a broken vacuum hose or vacuum fitting(s). you can use a can of spray carb cleaner. while running the engine use the spray to test hoses and fittings. give a little squirt to suspected areas. The idle speed will change when you find a vacuum leak. pay particular attention to the hose to the MAP sensor. There may be a problem with the elelctrical connection to the map sensor, or the sensor itself may be bad.
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

Hi there:
Easy things to check for that might cause P2188:
Air intake restriction
Contaminated or damaged MAF sensor.
SOURCE: Good day. My Volvo XC90 has check engine on, and
It means the engine is running rich (too much petrol) at idle speed. It probably has a rough idle now? The most common cause seems to be the Mass Air Flow - MAF - sensor at fault. It will need to be cleaned or replaced if so.
