SOURCE: Need diagram for 1998 Jeep

hi, you didn't say what engine you have, I'll assume it's the 4.0 L in line 6 cylinder. Standing on the PASSENGER side of the jeep, the spark plug at the front of the engine is #1, the next is #2, and so on to #6 which is at the back (nearest the windshield).
The distributor is between you and the valve cover on the engine. Pretend the top of the distributor cap is the face of a clock.
The #1 spark plug wire goes in the cap at what would be the 6 o'clock position, (as viewed from your position standing on the passenger side, facing the side of the engine). The firing order direction is clockwise, so the 'hand' of the clock (actually the rotor in the cap) would continue to the next distributor cap plug in, which would be spark plug wire to #5 (8 o'clock position), then #3 (10 o'clock position), #6 (12 o'clock position), #2 (2 o'clock position), #4 (4 o'clock position). So all this means isi your firing order is, 1,5,3,6,2,4 If you have a different motor or any questions, let me know. Good Luck! countrycurt0

To avoid confusion, tag and remove the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement.
If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes to reflect how your engine is wired.

Which fuse is the one for the turn signal on my 1994 jeep cherokee sport?

If something quits in your car and you suspect a blown fuse, you can find it by pulling out each fuse one by one. Don't mix them up, replace each one as you go, across the top or down the sides, make sure to look at each one. You may even find you have more than one bown fuse! Don't worry about your intended location, checking them all this way will take less than a minute of time. If you have some needle-nose plyers, they work very well, most times you can use your fingers. 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport Ignition Lights Come on but wont crank

Try putting the car in neutral and starting. If its a manual trans it might be the clutch pedal safety switch or it may be something as simple as a loose battery connection.

Blinker wont work, but the hazards do

There are two thermal flashers one for the Hazard Warning Lights and one for the Turn signal lights. It could be the flasher for the turn signals.
