Not sure regarding Volo, but most engines will run with the MAF sensor unplugged. It will use a default open loop fuel strategy, throw a MAF circuit code, and light the CEL.
Bypass the MAF ? ... without the Mass Air Flow sensor, your fuel mixture will be incorrect .

yes you can change miles to km but only with volvo scan tool to reprogram it nothing that you can do home

using the controls on your center console enter the menu and then car settings and you should be able to change the units of measure there
