2000 ford focus. the battery went dead. after jumping it the radio wont come on. I was told it needs to be reset but there is nothing in the manual to tell you how

It would ask for a code. Sounds like a blown fuse. You actually have 2 fuses that run the radio, one that is listed as Radio, and one that has a constant voltage on it. Look at Cigar lighter, or dome light, or some other fuse that would always have power on it.

On my2006 ford focus all gauges went dead had no headlights and radio went and car stalled on road. Parked car for fifteen minutes now everything is working fine. We are experiencing extreme cold...

Check your alternator, complete electronic failure and stalling is associated with the the car's electronic components not receiving power (much of the car is run by computers that depend on that power) a car with a properly functioning alternator and good connections to and from the alternator should not lose power.

2004 ford focus se replaced alternator couple of mnths ago went to start this morn battery dead charged battery still no start. jumped of another battery started but when removed jumper cables car died

Sounds to me that your battery has shorted out and will not take a charge.Disconnect the battery and try to charge it, then check to see if it has taken power with a volt meter. A shorted battery will take all the power from the alternator and run it to ground leaving no power to run the car. Also check the alternator output with a volt meter after you have checked the battery as a shorted battery can burn out the alternator.

Alernator is bad or short in vehicle draining battery. Did you recently install a new radio? If so, check your wiring.
