Ignition coils
A compression check would let you know if you have a bad ring, piston, valve. All pretty much bad news. Good news would be plugged or bad injector. I’m a fan of sea foam as a cleaner. Try to get some of that in there and it may fix your issue the easy way.
All leads for cracks or perished areas, also the coil pack, it sounds as though it's a miss fire problem, please be sure your vehicle doesn't have coded parts that require a computer to tell the car the parts have been replaced or it will still assume it has broken parts, hope this helps ????

From Lusty Kid:
I know the economy is bad, but change all of the plugs. Check your PCV Valve hose, 150 rottens them out allowing air to be sucked in, thus all kinds of codes.
Depending on mileage. Dismount the EGR valve and clean passages. If you are really good dismount the throtle position sensor body and clean out passages with Choke Cleaner., dismount where the EGR valves connects to the engine, clean out passages. Also check the hose thats behind this mounting to ensure is not clogged. If clogged clean it out. If not replace it. Is about 1.5 ft. long, connects to the PCV Valve Hose.
When is the last time you change your harness. Can't remember??? Replace it. Good Luck

ignition mod. grounds, pcm or timing belt could all be it but, I would have to look at timing first.
SOURCE: rough running, erratic spark
Run a compression test on the cylinders. If reading is low on any drop a little engine oil into the pot. If compression rises you have compession ring problems. Remove all plugs before you try this and place leads away from engine.

remove the coil pack and look at bottom of it if it shows any cracks coil is bad very common on these vans if you have a noid light check for injector pulse on #4 if you have pulse and good blue spark most likely the injector is bad you have to remove upper plenum to get injectors out let me know how you make out
