95 mercury grand marque window stuck in down position

Your manual has a diagram with all fuses identified and numbered.

Goodness, it sounds like you have too many electrical issues to be able to solve them in a few paragraphs. I would suggest, if you have the time and desire to track this down and fix it, your best bet would be to go get a Chilton's manual for your make and model. It has electrical diagrams and such in the book. It has all kinds of info you may find useful as you worth through your problems.

It has to be the wiper motor ....first make sure the wires that plug into the connector that plugs into the switch are not loose and have a good tight connection...I know that while moving the connector around when installing a new switch wires can become loose or slightly pulled out of the connector....it only takes one wire to pull loose ...but the wiper motor will cause the same problem....CALL DEALER TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO RECALLS OR TECH SERVICE BULLITENS ON WIPER MOTORS FOR YOUR VIN #...sometimes this will happen and everyone isnt notified

Sounds more like a control valve is not working correctly.. probably stuck in one position because you should always have heat from your heater core...like when you chose fresh air or recirculated air...it switches a valve to allow the change...well from cold to heat there's a valve also that switches the vent inside dashboard

i have a 1994 mercury grand marques and all of a sudden the blinkers, tail lights, and brake lights stopped working?

I had same problem in my 95 grand am the window motors were just bad,but those window motors can be a pain in rear end because the screws are so small and theres very limited space in the doors.That sound like your problem. GOOD LUCK

before spending alot of money on windows motors, try to take out the switch in the door handle and spray contact cleaner in the switch.. sometimes if you use alot of armor all on the door panels it will work its way into the switch and make it dirty.

replace the switch seem like the switch position is not working

turn the ignition to the on position then on the bottom of the steering colum just under the lock cylender thare is a hole that leads up to the cylender. get a straight pick or somthing with a point on it and insert in hole apply a little steady force while pulling straight out on the cylender. i am assuming you are talking about the ignition lock cylender.

check switch chek motor pull up on window while running swtch if comes up replace motor
