Theres an ECU relay that can go bad in the IPDM. Originally Nissan said the entire IPDM had to be replaced because it wasnt serviceable. Later they came out with just the relay. It's easy to change like any other relay. It caused our 06 Pathfinder to die at a red light. Turned vehicle off and back on and it was fine. Replaced relay with updated part and has been fine for years.
You can temporarily try the fog light relay to see if the relay is the problem. Swap the fog light relay into the slot for the ecu and see if it starts. If yes, then order the new relay ASAP. Do not continue to run the fog light relay, as it is missing some internal protection for the ecu.
Maybe starter relay
More then likely the BCM is what is keeping it from cranking . Anti-theft system light lit or flashing when trying to crank the engine ? Try putting gear selector in neutral to see if it cranks then , park neutral safety switch problem . Do you know what a wiring diagram is , need to view to see what all is involved in the cranking circuit .
STARTING SYSTEM PFP:23300 System Description EKS00F9V A/T MODELS Power is supplied at all times ? to starter motor terminal 2 and ? through 40A fusible link (letter. j , located in the fuse and fusible link box) ? to ignition switch terminal B. With the ignition switch in the START position, power is supplied ? from ignition switch terminal ST ? to IPDM E/R terminal 21. With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied to IPDM E/R (intelligent power distribution module engine room) CPU. With the selector lever in the P or N position, power is supplied ? through A/T assembly terminal 9 ? to IPDM E/R terminal 48. Ground is supplied at all times ? to IPDM E/R terminals 38 and 59 ? through body grounds E9, E15 (all) and E24 (VQ40DE model). Provided that the IPDM E/R receives a starter relay request ON signal from the BCM over the CAN lines, the IPDM E/R grounds the starter relay and power is supplied ? from terminal 19 of the IPDM E/R ? to terminal 1 of the starter motor. The starter motor plunger closes and provides a closed circuit between the battery and the starter motor. The starter motor is grounded to the cylinder block. With power and ground supplied, the starter motor operates.
Your best bet mite be to have a qualified technician check it . Do you know what C.A.N serial data network is ?

This is a bad PCM. Try to disconnect the security system first and if it still does not start then it is the PCM.

How long did the 2nd alt. last before it died? The voltage regulator is, I believe, attached to the alternator. Have u had the voltage regulator checked?
SOURCE: Won't crank, relay good.
Fuse would be in the outside fuse box. Look for the one labeled starter. If you are not getting power to the starter, could be an ignition switch.

Gave you a picture below of part of the wiring diagram to the fuse panel and it has the wire colors as well. I could only give you that much because I can't post any pictures to large (size wise in computer size) so thats the best i could do for right now. It does look as if there may be a fuseable link in 2 places maybe more but i just took a quick look. If you need anymore digrams you can email me at [email protected] with detailed info so I can send you the correct stuff. I doubt it's the ignition switch myself. i think you are looking at a wiring problem and i've only been doing this or 25+ years. Bet your kicking yourself for spending the money on the ECU. Sorry had to throw that in. Anyway i hope this helps you and good luck and feel free to write if needed.
