The headlight relay for a 1998 Dodge Dakota is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) under the hood. The PDC is a black box located on the driver's side of the engine compartment. The relay for the headlights is labeled on the underside of the PDC cover. You can refer to your owner's manual for a diagram of the PDC and the location of the headlight relay.

ASD is in the engine compartment fuse block.
The pump relay should be there also. Check your fuse panel in the truck though.

Hello oldfarmer877: My name is Roger and I will be glad to help you. Your truck does not have a fuel filter like the older cars and trucks have. The fuel filter for your truck is part of the fuel module inside the fuel tank. To replace the filter would involve removal of the fuel tank. The actual filter is located inside of the fuel pressure regulator. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
