Which security systems ? Content theft or the immobilizer ? Immobilizer keeps the vehicle from starting an running if proper key isn't used . Content theft is if somebody breaks a window an opens a door ,horn honk's - light's flash . ?
Without knowing what year you are working on, it makes it harder to tell. But if you leave the key in the ON position for 15-20 minutes it should send the BCM into learn mode, if it is newer than 2002

MAKE SURE YOU USING THE RIGHT KEYS. TRY ANOTHER IGNITION KEY.PLACE KEY IN THE SWITCH. TURN IGNITION SWITCH TO ON POSITION UNTIL IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATES FOR 2 TO 3 SECONDS. IF IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATES FOR 2 TO 3 SECONDS THEN FLASHES RAPIDLY.KEY CODE NOT RECOGNIZED.REMOVE KEY AND TRY AGAIN. IF ALL FAILS TAKE CAR TO DEALERSHIP THEY HAVE TO USE DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT TO FIX CAR.PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE IGNITION SWITCH,BCM,FAULT IN THE ECM OR IMMOBILIZER CODE INCORRECT.
