Honda jazz and the civic have problems with main shaft bearing failure in gear box. Bearings cost £22... But it is a gear box out job. A full days job. With car in neutral. Listen for gear box noise. Then depress the clutch, if noise goes away.. it's the bearings

If the key wont turn at all, try pulling the steering wheel (hard) to either side while turning the key. Sometimes if the steering wheel locks in a certain position it will "lock" the ignition cylinder in place, and pulling away from the ignition will take the pressure off and allow it to move. IF this doesn't work, you may have a bad "ignition lock cylinder"
It's the car pulling to that side? Sticking brake pad possible. When did you have brakes done last off at all? Front brakes go out twice as fast as rear brakes. If you can Charlie jack up that side put car in park, set emergency brake and chock rear tires. Pull off that tire and see if rotor is grooved or scored badly. It may have been sticking and wore down faster. Also check CV BOOT. If torn u joints get dirty and will grind. Hope this was some help.
It should be located at the bottom of your washer reservoir, which can be accessed through the right side fender. Just pull the fender liner out a bit where it contacts the front bumper cover. Then, unplug it and pull it out of the tank.
12x40 is near 500 watts, no way, if you had drain link that there would be 1: huge light. 2: huge heat 3: or huge noise. for sure. 500watts dont just fly way like a bird, not in this world. no lie we can find, it, but first tell what tools you have. really.
you could have a caliper piston sticking from a burr inside the caliper causing the pads to wear unevenly check also the mounting pins for lubrication if not lubed good that can be a problem if wheel bearing is bad aroaring or grinding noise will be present along with pulling to one side or the ohter
i have a 1997 honda accord ex. i have a knocking noise in the front end up to 25mph and goes away until you hit about 55mph then it comes back but it also goes away with the slightest turn of the steering wheel. what could this be? please help me, i been stuck on this for 5 days now. thanks.
Hello, It would not hurt to check and would cost you nothing to do so. The valving controlling the vacuum to the actuators could be giving you partial engagement. But if only on one side is doing it, I would think it would pull to the passenger side when in 2 wheel drive.
I had a client with a similar noise and on his truck the front driveshaft had a bad u-joint. Because the driveshaft is to your right, at the center of the truck; he also blamed the passengers wheel. You get a lot of sympathetic motion in the drivetrain. If you think about it, wear can occur on one side of the u-joint. When the shaft is being dragged along by sympathetic motion the driveshaft is being pulled, but when you hit 4x4, now the shaft is pushing and the pressure shifts to the opposite side of the u-joint. Under pressure the joint is now tight.
You may observe rust and grease "tracking" in the areas of the U-joint when you check the front driveshaft. I hope my solution is very helpful in solving your problem. Would appreciate a note when you find the cause of this problem.
