Where is the oxygen sensor located on a 2000 grandprix gt

oxygen sensors(O2S) are located after the cat converters
heated oxygen sensors (HO2S) are located in the exhaust manifold/ exhaust pipe before the cat converters
they are different sensors performing different jobs so rich or lean problems will be the HO2S in the manifold

Locate the two oxygen sensors on either side of the Sonata's catalytic converter on the exhaust manifold. The Sonata's oxygen sensor is gold and shaped liked a spark plug.

2 Remove the Sonata's wiring harness from the end of the two oxygen sensors using your fingers. Do not damage the end of Sonata's wiring harness.

3 Remove the two oxygen sensors from the Sonata's manifold using the oxygen sensor wrench.

4 Apply the anti-seize compound to the threads of the Sonata's two new oxygen sensors.

5 Install the two new oxygen sensors to the Sonata's manifold using the oxygen sensor wrench. Re-attach the wiring harness to the two new oxygen sensors using your fingers.

The definition of Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P1133 = "FRONT OXYGEN (A/F) SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT"

Please note that DTCs (A.K.A. "fault codes") NEVER tell you what parts to replace.
The DTC here is telling you which CIRCUIT is malfunctioning. The circuit must be diagnosed to find the exact CAUSE of the malfunction.

The possible causes of this DTC are:
> Battery short circuit in harness between Engine Control Module (ECM) and front oxygen (A/F) sensor connector
> Faulty ECM

Please also note that this is NOT a typical O2 Sensor circuit. This is a 6-pin Air/Fuel Ratio sensor. Proper scan tool and datalink interface equipment is REQUIRED to properly diagnose these circuits.

Where the parts are located:
The A/F sensor is located in the exhaust pipe in front of the catalytic converter. The ECM is located Under the carpet in the passenger front foot-well area. The circuits are located between the two.

For 2000 Buick Lesabre 3.8L SFI OHV 6cyl the Oxygen Sensor is located: under hood, center, rear engine area, above exhaust pipe flange, mounted in exhaust manifold.

O2 sensor is after catalytic convertor and only one and most never goes bad, just needs cleaned.

For 2000 Daewoo Lanos 1.6L MFI DOHC 4cyl the Oxygen Sensor is located under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, mounted in exhaust pipe in front of catalytic converter.

This is the pre 02 sensor located before the catalytic converter.

Well theres one ahead of the converer and one behind it, The is no sensor for the "converter"

There is only 4 sensors on a 2000 dodge intrepid and the bank 2 sensor 2 is the sensor located on the right (passenger) side and the one located after the catalytic converter (the one close to the firewall).
