Where is the #3 bank 1 oxygen senser located on the exhaust system of my 1999 chevy s10 4x4 4.3 liter v6 pick up?

    the code is po147(ho2s heater performance bank 1 sensor 3). the vin# is 1gcct14w5xk186710 (w is the 8th digit).

    Hi on your truck there are three O2 sensor one on each exhaust manifold and one after the catalysis converter now if you give me the code you got on the scanner I can help you better and the 8th vin # on your truck thank you

The oxygen sensor is located in the flow of exhaust and there will be two. the first is at the exit of the exhaust manifold where the head pipe attaches before the converter and the other is just after the cat converter.

    There are only two oxygen sensors for your car, front and rear. Are you sure it's not a different sensor?

Where is the oxygen sensor on a 1999 s10 with a v6 engine

There are 3 O2 sensors on the chevy vortec V6. 1 upstream left bank, 1 upstream right bank, 1 downstream.

Downstream sensor is located at outlet side catalytic converter. The two upstream sensors are in the left and right exhaust before they join. Look behind front wheels.

use the proper sensor tube spanner as the wires are delicate and easily broken when removing or installing the sensor

Bank 1 is located towards the driver's side. Sensor 1 is located upstream just below the exhaust manifold.

Where is the bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor located in a 2006 hyundai sontata gls v6?

The bank has to do with which side of the engine. The 'Sensor 1' indicates that it is upstream of the catalytic converter.

1996 chevy truck 5.7L has codes P0172, P0172 were

p0172 is--system to rich ( bank 1). an oxygen sensor on bank 1, detected a rich condition ( to little oxygen in exhaust ) v6-v8 - v10 engines, bank 1 is the side of the engine that has # 1 cylinder. causes could be a vacuum leak in a hose, a dirty or bad maf sensor, or fuel pressure or delivery problems.
