I need the firing order diagram for a vortec v6 out of a 1994 gmc jimmy. I need to know where the numbers are on the plugs and the distributor, this is my first time and I think I switched something important.

Hi there. I just did a tune up on my 95 Jimmy with the same motor. The firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 and the distributor rotation is clockwise. I hope this helps.

Looking for the fireing order for my 1993 jimmy 4.3 votek moter

Here is the firing order for that vehicle and engine, however, some people can not figure it out (color coding and numbers seem to be too complicated for some) and have given low ratings for this diagram, and I will probably stop giving out this firing order. Let me know if you need help to understand this diagram, or require any further assistance.

You can start number 1 anywhere on the cap, but has to go in order from there.,
