If you have a dipstick under your hood for the tranny fluid, then fill it in there slowly... if not, you'll need to fill it through the filler plug that will be on the side of the transmission just above the halfway point

Before you add transmission fluid, check the fluid level first. You willneed a medium-sized funnel to add fluid.

The engine must be warmed un and running when you check.
Locate the transmission fluid dipstick and clean it then check the fluid level.

If low, determine how much fluid to add (check dipstick)..
Turn off engine.
Mount or hold the funnel onto the transmission fluid dipstick tube (pipe) and slowly add fluid.

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: add transmission fluid

On 91 vehicles there's a 17mm allen screw on the side towards the left front wheel. Open it add the oil there on a level surface and fill till oil reaches the hole and starts coming out. DO NOT FILL OIL FROM THE TOP where what seems to be a plug. It's actually the timing marks and houses the clutch. Put oil there and you'll need a new clutch.

SOURCE: where do you add transmission fluid

i believe your trooper is like my isuzu rodeo which have a sealed transmission which could be checked by yourself by srewing off the bolt on the top of the tranny, or take it to a transmission place and they will charge you about $140 to replace the fluids on it

SOURCE: !995 jeep gr cherk. transmission fluid. add hot

Its best to add while all is hot..
Leave it runing in park while adding fluid..
Put a little at a time and keep checking being careful not to over fill..
The dipstick mesures in pints - not quarts..

2002 Toyota Camry what kind of automatic transmission fluid does this car take

Check tranny fluid level. If at correct point new oil or adding will not correct anomaly. Need tranny pro to resolve issue.

If you need to add a little standard auto transmission fluid will do the trick. Nothing special.

How do I add transmission fluid to a 1996 concorde with a 3.5 liter eng?

Buy a funnel with a long flexible hose, and place the end of it in the transmission fluid dipstick hole. Add no more than a a few ounces of fluid at a time before rechecking the levels - preferably while the transmission is hot and the motor running.

My 92 toyota camry has power and all but it shifts hard wat could b the issue

Probably dirty transmission fluid and filter...you can use the ****** flush, or change the fluid and filter, or try the least costly...add one bottle of Lucas Oil transmission stabilizer fluid...(no not drain anthing) follow the instructions...warm motor, warm ****** etc. add the complete bottle...this works to restore the seals and shift points...All this of course assuming your motor is tuned and running smoothly...(clean air filter etc.) Hope this helps.

How do I check the transmission fluid and add transmission fluid to my 1991 toyota camry

Do you have your owners' manual? Check the diagram there to see where the dipstick for the tranny fluid is. You generally have to check the fluid when the engine is hot. You can sometimes get help withe these things at the big box auto stores like Advance Auto. I hope this helps! Ask them to show you how to add the fluid. You could also go to the oil change place and get them to show you that any other crucial check points on your auto.

I want to know what the RPMs should be when accelerating. Also my car seems to be taking longer to change between gears, what?s the worse it could be?

the worst thing it could be is a transmission failure, but I would try checking the transmission fluid before I would get to worried.
to check the transmission fluid, drive the vehicle for 15 - 20 minutes, park on a level spot, set the emergency / handbrake and place the vehicle into neutral, pop the hood and locate the transmission dipstick, check fluid level, add if necessary.

if the fluid has a burned smell to it or it is almost black it is probably time to change the fluid and filter on the transmission. fairly easy to do especially if you can locate and buy a haynes or childers car repair manual. most autoparts stores carry them for 15-25 dollars (atleast around here they do.)

What type of transmission oil do i use for my camry

look in the manual that came with the car. it also may be written on the tranny dipstick. if it's not going in reverse, it's not the fluid type that is the problem. possibly the fluid level, but most likely a larger issue.

Cant locate where to put my tranmissin fluid

usually you fill them through the transmission tube that has the dipstick in it, just put a funnel in the top of the tube and add the fluid but check to make sure you do not overfill it
Hope this helps
