1997 Olds 88 LE overnight leaking antifreeze passengers side towards front. Check when car is running coming out of bottom round type cyclinder on same side. Could this be water pump - Thanks

their must be a hose leak tighten all clamps put air radatior tester on and see where its leaking

No don't use all make but you can use antifreez on your old 88 1997.

Open the hood for access to the engine compartment. Locate the front of the engine facing toward the passenger side of the Olds 88. Locate the pulleys along the front of the engine. Look for the camshaft pulley, which is the main pulley and is also the largest pulley of all the pulleys in the engine.3 Find the water pump pulley directly above the camshaft. The camshaft sensor is located between the two pulleys. The sensor is round with a wiring harness sticking out of the end.

the water leak could be the AC ?? if its on ,if still overheating then ask a local mechanic to advise ast it couild be a multitude of different things causing the engine to run hot ,like a build up of corrosion in the cooling system clogging the rad up .All vehicles must have antifreeze in all year round

it is on the front of the engine (passenge side), it has a black plastic fluid reservoir on top of it.This is a picture of the pump and the reservoir.

look under the car there are plugs located in the floor look to see if the plug has rotted , the ac condenser still condenses water even if it is not turned on check to see if the drain on the fire wall(located on the fire wall passenger side towards the bottom)is plugged with mud or debris, if it is not plugged the heater/ac unit shell may be cracked allowing water to seep, also check around the front window for leaks.

Its on the fuel rail, mounted to the frame just in front of the rear wheel.

chances are the tube has come off of the sunroof assembly. remove the headliner and check for the problem

were at on the passenger side? If its in the front floorboard,passengers side.the heater core may be leaking antifreeze.Also the a/c drain it also located in the same area.check your antifreeze,if not low,drive for a few miles with a/c on,stop on dry level place.there should be water dripping under passengers front.that is were the a/c drain is supposed to be.
