The amount of O2 sensors will vary, but as a general rule you'll find 2. One before the catalyst and one after. This is on an engine that is an in-line.
V6 or V8 engines will have 2 sensors, one before each catalytic converter and another 2 after each catalyst.
There could be more or less all based on the make and model of a vehicle.

Thank you for taking the time to help. I have to replace a sensor and figured might as well see about changing the others
To many to replace all at once

Cheryl, replacing the O2 sensor may not resolve your problem. There are a few reasons why an engine light comes on. Could be a vacuum leak in one of your hoses, or could be a leaking fuel injector. An exhaust leak could also be the problem and even the EVAP system which may have a leak.
First I would recommend that you have someone perform tests on these systems before you begin replacing parts which may not correct the problem. With so much technology in vehicles, there are many possible things that could be the problem.

It depends on what location your car was made for. California requirements are more stringent than the 'federal' requirements. But you should have at least four, two for each side of the engine. One will be located between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter (or possibly on the manifold itself), and one 'downstream' from the converter on each side. If you have another converter after the two primary converters 'Y' together, there may be another sensor on that one.

Thank you. You were very helpful. That's to many sensors to replace all at once

Codes 3, 61 on a 2005 dodge magnum

P0003 is fuel circuit volume low and P0061 is 02 sensor bank 2 sensor 3 heater circuit.

Generally a heater code usually means replace the 02 sensor. The heating element popped, kinda like a litght bulb does.

The 03 code will need further diagnosing to determine the exact cause.

2005 Dodge Magnum error code...

Your heated O2 sensor has a heeater problem most likely. Most likely time to change out your HO2 sensor. Most cars actually have only primary heated. Not sure for this application but would thus assume the primary sensor or otherwise known as precat O2.
With a sensor high you have high voltage back to the pcm thus most likely shorted heating element.

There is an outside chance of a cross short to the ground circuit of your O2 sensor. If after replacing your sensor you still have a problem then start looking for this.

I see you went to the auto parts store and got an HO2 sensor (Should be a 22mm or 7/8" -- same size) and replace the Primary and if that do not solve the problem, then see if you have a heated postcat HO2 if not then see above.

Good luck and hope this helps, oh and Bank 1 is where your #1 cylinder is.
