You may have a fuel leak. when there is odor of gas there ia a leak somewhere. Pop the hood and check with your nose where the smell is coming from. Once you isolate the location of the odor check with your hands. if your hand is wet and smells of gas you have found the leak. Next get a mirror to see if you can replace the hose yorself. In some cases due to the age of the car and since most fuel lines are made of rubber, after some time they can become corrosive and start to leak. Check the fuel lines. If the smell is entering your cab while you drive the problem is in the front of the car due to the fact that as you drive the rushing air will cause the odors to dissipate. Good Luck!!!
