Hey I have a 1997 jeep wrangler. My cigarette lighter will not work! I can not charge my GPS or my cell phone. I just replaced It with a new one and it still will not work! I can not find were the fuse is for it on the fuse box Diagram?

There is another fuse box under the hood in front of the battery. it will be a small 10 or 15 amp fuse change it and all will work again. if that is not the problem then check behind the glove compartment there will be another fuse box.

I had the same problem and had a bit of a custom fix. The blue wire from the cigarette lighter is the hot lead. I spliced it into the wire that runs the clock on my radio and now i have a cigarette lighter that will charge my phone and GPS without the jeep running!

Check the fuse box carefully the fuse may not be marked for just the lighter and the abreviations they use may not be clear, but there is a fuse there for the lighter

Cigarette lighter receptacle won't work

Not a Peugeot expert, but its possible the charger is not going in far enough to touch the center of the lighter receptacle. Does the lighter work with the lighter element ?
Sometimes debris collects in the bottom of the receptacle and blocks the contacts.

2006 Jeep Wrangler cigarette lighter not working

Check for un-isulated connection on the hot wire lead. It might have been after-market but on mine the connection would short out, blowing a fuse. 1 inch of heat shrink tube fixed the problem.

1999 Jeep wrangler, loose cigarette lighter

Hard to tell exactly from your short post, however, there may be a large retaining nut on the back of the lighter behind the dash panel. Or possible a large clip that retains it. I would check there first.

Usually you need to be able to reach the back side of the old cigarette lighter to unscrew it and unplug it from the dash... undo the wiring and slide the new one in... really simple.... good luck
