I have checkd relays and the fuses and bought a brand new pump it seems to have a eletrical problem that is not letting the pump cut on what can i try next

there may be some bad wireing in it that went bad or some thing i own a 2002 ponitac grand prix and it has power probums but i never see that one before but check the wireing
Most likely it is the fuel pump relay. It is located in the high amp fuse box under the hood and there should be a diagram on the fuse box cover or inside the fuse box itself.
if the truck has a fuel pump relay, then it's not a mechanical pump it's eletrical. If you're SURE it has a relay, then the ELETRICAL pump is in the fuel tank. If it's mechanical, it will be on the motor, near the belts. Not sure which side on a ford.

Fuel PUMP fuse and relay is located in the Engine compartment
Fused block . Driver side. under the hood.
The Fuel pump relay Is labeled F/Pump.
And the Fuel Pump Fuse is labeled ECMB ( 20 amp.)
The ground for the fuel pump is located At left rear Frame rail.
Some times the Fuel pump harnes connector burn with the old pump.
Check the connector....
