First fuel filter pluged, so replaced, then fuel pump quit but still had power to the pump, Replaced fuel pump, vehicle ran fine for about 2 weeks. NOW Runs fine till warms up then losses power and dies
Starts right back up but will almost imediately loose power and die again. Only EVAP code intake air tube and box not restricted a constant 55lbs fuel pressure. Tried a different ignition module did same thing. PCV and hose in good shape. Unpluged VAF sensor sitll same thing. Can you Help??
My 05 silverado 5.3v8 was stalling dead when it reach a temp of 170-200 degrees and wont start until cold and do the same thing till warm. I changed fuel pump, crank sensor, bought a cam sensor also. It turned out to be a disconnected single ground wire that runs under the power steering and connects to main ground on bottom front. Now engine runs fine. I changed power steering a couple of times and must have wore it loose.
Does the fuel line still have 55 PSI when engine warmed up? Any other codes show up?
