check the wires on the feed to the fuel pump ,,also check that it hasnt got the cut out thingy on top of the fuel tank like the ford explorer,unless this is only fitted on the europeon models .?
The pump is in the gas tank. On some early 90s models you could access the pump thru an access plate without dropping the tank. Otherwise you have to drop the tank and take the pump out thru the top. If you do replace it, make sure you replace the filter too.
listen at your fuel tank to see if you can hear the fuel pump running if it isn't check your fuses as well as your relay if these seem to be ok then it's probably the fuel pump
Check to make sure oil pressure switch is not sticking or gummed up and connections are tight. Your oil pressure switch is also a safety feature that will shut down fuel pump in case you're in an accident and/or rollover.
fuel pump is on the top of the tank, for that you have to drop the tank. Follow the lines to find the filter. Dodge caravans have a problem with the fuel pump going out.
Some GM products also incorporate the oil sender switch into that circuit for fuel pump, so that in case of an accident, engine shuts off, oil pressure drops, in turn, shuts off power to fuel pump. May be worth a look at what your getting for oil pressure, as well as checking switch/sender.
