I recently relaced my fuel pump on my 2006 chevy cobalt 2.2L and now my fuel gauge won't read and engine light won't turn off

If you do not have the fuse box picture in your car book (in the glove box), google 'location for fuel pump fuse on 2006 Chevy Cobalt'. You will get all the information necessary to find the fuse.

check your timing chain or timing belt.

traction control will not cause starting issues read check engine light or security

just replace my fuel pump /sending unit on my 06 Malibu, didn't matter if the pump was in or out of the tank, the gauge still reads wrong

2006 F350 6.0 Engine light Code is reading bad fuel gauge sensor could this effect fuel pump and performance. Can I wait until have time to change.

Possible plugged fuel filter or weak fuel pump. Take the car to AutoZone or similar business to get a free read of the computer even though no warning light is on. Good luck!
