More than likely, your battery has failed. I would start with that first.

Battery light comes on when battery is not holding a strong enough load. All your systems are electrical and when the battery is weak the systems break down and malfunction. Get new battery first thing. This will likely fix all issues. Get the specific type they suggest. Yes, it is the most expensive one they sell, but is normally good for 5 years.
P0600 means that the ECU has lost the connection with one of its many controllers more than once. When this code is set the ECU triggers the Check Engine Light to be displayed on the dashboard and a failsafe mode enacted.
The failsafe mode is to prevent further damage and protect the vehicle. Failsafe mode will remain in effect until the normal operation is detected or the vehicle is repaired.
What causes the P0600 code?
1. Failing ECU or the ECU has failed
2. Low battery voltage
3. ECU wiring harness open, short or poor electrical connection
Based on a battery light coming on, I would strongly suspect the battery is failing. Change the battery (or have it tested using a CCA tester, NOT A VOLTAGE TESTER which will (not give you an accurate picture of a battery in a modern car.)
Personally, if this is the original battery, I would change it before considering anything else.

need to check the wire from alternator to battery for corrosion and chave cables checked

If wiggling the wires cured the code, then one of the wires is broken inside the insulation. Pull on each wire one at a time. look for the colored insulation to stretch, this will be the broken wire. For the other car that wont rev up, this is a common when the catalytic concverter is plugged up. This will also cause MAF codes, and in turn, TRAC OFF light.

SOURCE: Ram van dies
sounds to me like the fuel pump is bad, when it warms up it dies, try to check this by filling the tank and running a while, then run the van with a near empty tank and see how it does. A full tank of gas should keep the fuel pump cool as it is surrounded by the liquid. I had a similar problem. when my tank got to about a quarter full (3/4 empty) the van would shut off after a short distance, then after sitting for a while would start up again get me a little farther then shut off again. i ended up changiung the fuel pump cost me almost $300. if this simple test shows no results the you got electrical problems, check distributor, and surrounding cables. good luck. also check your fuses could be dirty!

It sounds like you may have a cloged fule filter, start with that and then check to see if your fuel pump had gone bad. Most likely it's your fuel filter if it's never been changed. The other common problems is a partial clog to the injectors but i don't think that is the problem here. Good luck

Could have a ABS wheel speed sensor going bad, once this happens will disable the ABS and the trac control. Have it scanned and find out which sensor is bad. Small possibility of ABS module failure, but not as likely.

Resolution: Dealer replaced the PCM, and I'm back on the road. The hope now is that the PCM failure wasn't caused by another (e.g., voltage) issue that is, as of yet, undetected. Fingers crossed that the problem is resolved.
It's hard to say what happened, but I know that if the spart plugs are old, they can kill a pcm. When the plugs get old, the gap grows larger. Modern cars are designed to fire across the larger gap, but it cause the coils to draw more current, which means they run hotter. The additional current also make thd PCM to run hotter and will eventually cause it to fail. (Usually the coil(s) go as well.) Just a thought.
