AC & Fan stop working all the sudden

most likely wants some gas ,take to a garage with a AC machine and a mechanic who knows how it works ,as some pressure switches can cause problems but most likely just wants topping up with R600A gas .R134A has been removed from europe by taxation

Your Honda Civic has 2 fans: One fan is for the engine cooling, and only comes on and off when the fan thermistat tells it to. the other fan is the AC condenser fan, and it is on when the AC is running, which it is supposed to do. You need to have a code reader attached to your car to figure out why your check engine light is on. Most Auto parts stores will do this for free, and then you will know why the light is on, and can work on what it will take to fix it

Maybe a fuse or relay.

Make sure your fan is working properly. When you turn on the heater you are forcing the fan to cool the radiator. It may not be turning on automatically when it is supposed to. Let us know if this helps..

The relay center is under the hood, there should be several with the same #'s switch one that you know is working in place of the fan relay, if fans turn on replace relay. It is faster to turn on ac after switching relays for diagnostics as fan should run as long as ac is on...

try changing the compressor relay

sounds like your restrictor box is takeing a ****.. does it work on any of the 4 fan speeds?

I assume when you say the ac fan you mean the condenser fan? Take the plug loose from the fan and check it for voltage.If theres no voltage when the air is on,check the relays and fuses.If there is voltage then replace the fan motor.
