I don't know. please consider asking a 'remote car start'
installer for their idea. also, there may be unused wires between inner and outer fuse blocks.

SOURCE: 12v wiring thru the firewall

you have to run it thru the driver side their is a plastic grommet that you can poke a hole thru and just run it thru the dash to the passenger side or were ever you need it.

Aftermarket fog light installation on 2013 Cadillac srx. Where can I go through firewall to run wires to the switch?

Look for any rubber plugs that can be removed. If no plugs are present, you will have to enter where any wiring harness are in rubber grommets on the firewall....Do not drill any holes...Damage to something behind the firewall could occur . Make sure your Lights are fused and use existing grommets....No sharp metal edges....I use a length of welding wire to fish my circuits through the grommets from inside the car.... Disconnect the negative battery cable before doing any electrical projects......

Ihave purchased a outside temperature gauge, ho can I run the wire to the engine compartment?

Is it a power wire or the lead from a thermocouple? In either case, probably the best place is to run the wire is through the engine firewall. You should find a hole covered by insulation somewhere above the accelerator pedal. Look in the engine compartment for a bare hole or one with a rubber plug. Pull the wire from under the dash through the hole or rubber grommet (make a small hole in the rubber if necessary) and lead it to wherever you need it to go.

How do you run a wire through a 2005 Mazda 6 , with standard transmission, through the firewall?

There are plenty rubber grommets in the bulkhead, some are easier to get to from the inside by pulling down the carpet from under the dash. Either make another hole, of try to squeeze the wire inside the existing hole.

Where can i get a power wire through my firewall

You can usually pass one (power wire) through where steering column passes through firewall or there's usually a couple of plastic grommets that you can poke a hole through to feed your wire through (drivers side)

What is the best way to run wires from my battery to inside the cabin to wire in a power converter?

The best or more professional way to run the cables is to drill a hole thru the firewall. You need to use wire ties on the cables and route the cables along the factory wiring harness. Try to route to the shortest distance and use a rubber grommet where you have the hole drilled in the firewall. The grommet will keep the cable from getting damaged by the sharp edges of the hole that you drilled. Also the largest possible diameter cable is better because you will get more amperage to the power inverter. Hope this helps :)

Cant find a hole in the drivers side in the firewall to run am amp wire. car is 1988 cutlass ciera. thanks in advance

Look under the Brake Master Cylinder, you should be able to locate the factory rubber grommet which protects the factory wire loom, depending on the accesseries your vehicle has it can be quite crowed to accomadate another large gage wire such as an 4-6-8 size gage wire. You can also on the driver's side floor board carefully pull back the carpet to inspect for a access hole, also if you decide to make your own access make absolutely sure of your location and any potential hazards, wire harnesses , cables, componets, I suggest you disconnect the 12 volt source at the battery , disconnect the negative cable first. Proceed with caution whenever drilling through any sheet metal firewall. You can use a 3/8" drill motor with a 1/8" drill bit for a pilot hole as to use as a guide for 1/2' diameter holesaw. Also to protect your wire loom use flexable wireloom protector and proper size firewall grommet to protest wires from chaffing. hope this helps... Make sure this is fused circuit , check the demands of your components and follow manufacturers requirements.

Getting wires thru firewall

Start by looking under hood at firewall, there is usually rubber grommets for other items that you can use to poke in along side of them. I usually go in by speedo cable, steering shaft are, just make a small **** if you have to. Look around for one that is closest to your antennae mounting location. Cellular antennae, I guess stick on the glass type not available, or preferred?

Where are the spark plugs located on a 1989 mazda mpv

Here's where I found mine on my 2000 protege.

First you're not looking for the right wire type! If you're looking for a standard 1/4" black wire that would normally run from a distributor cap to the plug you would be wrong... so:

Look right on top of the aluminum engine block and you will see the word Mazda and behind that you'll see your engine size. Between the two you'll see a round black rubber grommet and two black blocks with wires running through them (these are the ignition coils). If you look closely you'll see another rubber grommet under all the wiring. Your plugs are under all that wiring in about 4" deep wells.

First you will need to remove four bolts that hold the coils into place (2) per for a total of (4) bolts. If I recall correctly you will need a 10mm socket to get these out.

Before continuing mark each of the four cables with a number (1-4, left to right) so you don't get these mixed up.

Next pull on the rubber grommet labeled #1 (NOT THE WIRE) and pull it all the way out. You will see your plug waaaay down below.

Hints: Using a 6" extension on your socket remove all the old plugs first. When doing so use the rubber sleeve that is inside the socket to help get the plug out of the well.

When putting the new plugs in remove the rubber sleeve from inside the socket so that the socket can be pulled off the plug and out of the well.

Notes:
1.) Always use an anti-seize compound on the threads of the new spark plugs. This can be purchased along with the plugs.
2.) NEVER over-tighten. Snug is 'snuff.
Hope that helps.
